Oh joy, after a week of personal defeats on a 5-a-side pitch, the mighty magpies have done it again and failed me in Europe.
A weak defensive display and impotent strike force means another year of mediocrity. Having had my birthday this weak it is really the point when you wonder whether we will ever win anything in your lifetime? I don't think the 1983 FA Youth Cup, 1993 First Division or Intertoto Cup in 2006/7 and 2007/8 really is acceptable. The only bonus is that at least makes us better than Sunderland still. At least we've been regulars in Europe for the past 10 years?!?
On a positive note next season will see Owen and Martins paired, with Milner and The Zog providing them. Lets just hope that Titus' shambles last night was a final fairwell and that he'll be back off to Tractorville in the summer.
Oh and I've got the fun trip to Charlton on Sunday
